An apartment that caught on fire in Lawrence Monday night has been declared a total loss. Nobody was injured in the fire. The American Red Cross and and the University of Kansas are assisting displaced residents

Train Hits Car Overnight

Nobody was hurt Tuesday morning when a train hit a car just west of Topeka. It happened just before 3 a.m. Authorities say a train hit an unoccupied vehicle at a railroad crossing near 17th and Valencia Rd.

Man Drives Truck Through Bar's Front Window

Police responded to call at a Topeka bar Monday night after a man drove his truck through the front window there. Nobody in the bar was hurt and the driver was tracked down and arrested by police in the area by 6:30 p.m.
